HUBUNGAN KETERATURAN KONSUMSI TABLET FE DENGAN ANEMIA PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III DI PUSKESMAS TOMPASOBARU KABUPATEN MINAHASA SELATAN
Abstract
Background: Anemia is a nutritional problem that needs attention and is one of the public health problems in Indonesia which can be experienced by all age groups, from toddlers, teenagers, pregnant women to the elderly (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2021). One of the causes of anemia in pregnant women is the low content of pregnant women consuming Fe tablets. Objective: to conduct research on the relationship between fulfilling the consumption of Fe tablets and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Tompasobaru Community Health Center, Minahasa district. Method: Analytical observational method with a cross sectional design was chosen for this study, a large sample of 20 respondents was taken using a simple random sampling technique. Regularity of consuming Fe tablets is the independent variable and the incidence of anemia is the dependent variable. Data was obtained through questionnaires and Hb examination. Data analysis used the Kendall tau test. Results: The results of the Kendall Tau test above obtained a p value of 0.000. In conclusion, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between the regularity of taking Fe tablets and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Tompasobaru Community Health Center, Minahasa district. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the regularity of consuming Fe tablets and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women with a low level of correlation. With a p value of 0.000 and a contingency coefficient value of 0.845.
