Pengaruh Edukasi Terhadap Body Image Pasien Kanker Payudara (Literature Review)

Abstract

Kanker payudara adalah kanker yang paling umum ditemukan di seluruh dunia, jenis kanker ini juga menjadi penyebab utama kematian akibat kanker pada wanita. Intervensi pada pasien kanker payudara dapat menimbulkan masalah body image pada pasien. Untuk mengurangi masalah body image ini, perlu dilakukan intervensi yang tepat berdasarkan evidence. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari evidence untuk mengetahui efek edukasi terhadap body image pada wanita dengan kanker payudara. Desain penlitian ini adalah literature review yang disusun dengan menggunakan pedoman checklist PRISMA. Menggunakan dua database yaitu ScienceDirect dan PubMed. Dan didapatkan 9 artikel, 6 artikel RCT dan 3 artikel quasi-experimental. Hasilnya, seluruh artikel menunjukkan ada pengaruh intervensi yang diberikan terhadap body image pada wanita dengan kanker payudara. Kesimpulannya, intervensi edukasi, baik secara tatap muka langsung maupaun jarak jauh, memiliki hasil yang positif bagi body image wanita dengan kanker payudara.
