Anti-Tuberculosis Drugs (ATD) are the most important component in the treatment of tuberculosis. Tuberculosis treatment is one of the most efficient efforts to prevent the further spread of tuberculosis germs and tuberculosis drugs include antibiotic drugs which function in various ways to kill tuberculosis bacteria. The purpose of study is to determine the effect of education about Anti-Tuberculosis Drugs (ATD) on public knowledge at the Geger Health Center.

This research used observational analytics using a cross sectional approach, the research population was 78 respondents with a sample of 65 respondents. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling method. The research was conducted at the Geger health center in April 2024. The data collection tool used questionnaires. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate using the paired t-test.

The results of the research before being given education (pretest), namely 30 (46.2%) respondents were in the poor category, while after being given education (posttest), 53 (81.5%) were in the good category. Based on the results of statistical tests carried out using the paired t-test, the p-value (0.000) < α (0.05) was obtained, which means that there was an effect of education on public knowledge about anti-tuberculosis drugs at Geger health centers.

It was concluded that there was an increase in public knowledge about anti-tuberculosis drugs at Geger health centers after being given education. The suggestion for future researchers is to add variables that can influence the attitude of Tuberculosis patients towards treatment.
Riyadatus SolihahSukaina Sukaina

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) needs serious attention both from patient and the health worker because DM increases the risk of complication such as cardiovascular disease and kidney failure. The symptoms’ that shown on the Diabetes Mellitus are polydipsia, polyuria, polyphagia, the slow wound healing, repeated infection, the decrease in vision, and fatigue. This research uses pre-experiment research with one group pretest-posttest design. This design used pretest before given treatment. There are 36 diabetes mellitus patient sampled for this research collected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection including coding, editing, entry, and cleaning, after that the data analyzed using SPSS. The research result shows that before the intervention of giving footcare education and foot exercise, the are 27 (75%) have low risk patients, 8 (22,8%) of medium risk patients, and 1 (2,8 %) of high risk patient with diabetic ulcer. After the intervention given, the respondents become 35 (97,2%) of low risk and only 1 (2,8%) of medium risk with diabetic ulcer. There is an effect of footcare education on the risk of developing diabetic ulcers in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Rogotrunan Lumajang Health Center with r = -3.000 so that r = 0.000 < α = 0.05. The result of this research is expected to be able to add and improve the knowledge of community to understand the importance of the treatment on the diabetic patient and foot exercise to improve the blood circulation so complication of diabetic ulcers can be prevented.
Ria Fitri MarchitaDodik HartonoZainal Abidin

The compliance of the surgical team in carrying out the Surgical Safety Checklist (SSC), when time out phase, is a very important part to achieve patient safety during operative procedures. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between the compliance of the surgical team and the implementation of SSC in the operating room. The design used in this study was Spearman rank with a sample size of 39 respondents who were observed once using a total sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection method was carried out observationally on the compliance of the surgical team using the 2009 WHO guidelines and the SSC implementation using the 2015 NPSG guidelines. Data processing in this study used the correlation coefficient frequency distribution. Observation results from the compliance of the surgical team showed that most of the respondents had a level of compliance (94.9%) and less compliance (5.1%), and for patient safety, it was obtained data that most of the patients were safe as many as 35 (89.7%) and 4 (10.3%) were unsafe while based on the table it was found that the p value was less than α (0.05), namely 0.000, this figure indicated that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there is a relationship between surgical team compliance in the implementation of SSC with patient safety and the Spearman correlation value of 0.688 indicates a strong correlation.
Dedi WicaksonoSunanto SunantoMashuri Mashuri

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease because the pancreas is no longer able to produce insulin. People with DM must have good spiritual and emotional intelligence in order to self care management in people with DM so that complications can be controlled or not occur. This study aims to determine the correlation between Spiritual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence with Self Care Management in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Orchid Room, RSD dr. Haryoto Lumajang.

This type of research is correlational analytic cross sectional approach. Population was 32 people, 30 samples determined using technique Accidental sampling. The instruments used Spiritual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Questionnaires Self Care Management. Data processing with Editing, Coding, Scoring and Tabulating processes, then analyzed using Logistic Regression.

The results of this study indicate respondents have a low category of spiritual intelligence with a total of 12 people (40%), respondents have a low category of emotional intelligence with a total of 11 people (36.7%), and respondents have Self Care Management less category with a total of 14 people (47%). The results of the analysis test using Logistic Regression have a correlation between Spiritual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence with Self Care Management. in Type 2 DM Patients in the Orchid Room, RSD dr. Haryoto Lumajang with sig value for the effect of X1 and X2 simultaneously on Y is 0.000 <0.05 and the calculated F value is 218,755 > F table 3.32 so it can be concluded that H0 is accepted.

Eva NurakhmawatiMarfuah MarfuahIin Aini Isnawati
